It was a clear black night, a clear white moon…I dare say possibly shorts and long sleeve weather. Layers were coming off like a drunken strip poker night. Crisp air, modest breeze, and spring is within reach. I was putting off PB’ing this, let alone writing the workout. I had the hardest case of QBlock that I’ve had in a long time. Even when I pulled into the parking lot, I had absolutely no idea as to what we were going to do. LightsOut asked if coupons – and I hemmed and hawed. I eventually resolved to use coupons, but not much thought after that.
That’s not entirely true – I came 15 min early and brought my rake to rake the leaves around the AMP steps. The leaves were wet and thick, and they’ve been jacking up the AMP stairs for months. So I guess I figured on using the AMP, but that was about a far as it got.
I didn’t draw the conclusion that today is Pi Day. I did a we search on DuckDuckGo for March 14th, and I’ll tell you what – One might consider it a sketchy “anti-holiday”. I didn’t happen to notice Pi Day, but wouldn’t you know that the workout lined up perfect. 3 sets of PT, and PT rounds were either 14, 7 IC, or 7 and 7. Talk about dumb luck..

So funny….I googled March 14th to see if there was any signifiance to the date. Nothing other than horror scope and something called “Steak and Blo***b Day”. I figured THAT wasn’t a theme worth doing, so I just YOLO’d it. But joke’s on you – I accidentally landed a 9.43/10 on a Pi Day beatdown! Seriously, the 3 sets of 14 reps was 100% coincidental. You can’t make this stuff up.
We did quite a bit in 45 minutes. Good job men, and God bless.
