Mufasa (William Byron), Gump (Clint Bowyer), Coors (Sterling Marlin), Deerhunter (Dale Inman), Optimus (Matt Kenseth), Oilermaker (Tony Stewart), Muck (Cole Trickle)
Dick Trickle must have gotten blown out the night before the race.
Walking out of my truck this morning it felt like I was doing the Polar Plunge. It was painful to stand there and wait for 5:30. The cold didn’t last very long as we took on a cardio heavy WO. Here’s what we did:
Warmup
7 to 1 Motivator
Windmill x 15IC
IST x 16IC
Arm Circles Fwd x 10IC
Bean Picker x 15IC
The Thang
Patmos 80
Pax form teams of 2 which represents 2 lanes. Teams of 3 and 4.
10 Burpees at the Start, Indiana Run Park Lap,
10 Burpees, Indiana Run Park Lap,
Pit Stop at rear of Park to do Mtn. Climbers x 20IC and arrive at the Start.
There were 4 sets of this total which amounted to 80 Burpees, 80 Mtn. Climbers, and approx. 1.5 miles of Indian Running.
If a Pax touched a team member at any point during the race, there would be 10 WWI’s OYO. If a Pax touched another teams Pax there would be 10 WWI’s for all racers. We did approx. 20 WWI’s. No actual accidents happened.
One Lap 1, Deehunter blew out a tire and would not return to the race.
Mufasa, Coors, and Gump (the tall guys) were cruising through whole time. I’m sure they could have lapped us if they really wanted to.
Optimus & Oilermaker were not feeling it 100% as they were loosing gas the whole time. They might of had 87 octane in their tanks instead of Race Fuel.
Mary
Crash and Burned as all Pax were doing WWI’s at the end of lap 8 of 10.
Moleskin
Mufasa, Gump, Coors did a good job of keeping up the pace.
Deerhunter, Awesome you kept going after your tire blow out. Pretty sure you could have kept up with us.
Optimus & Oilermaker, it’s early in the season still. We have plenty of time to get you race ready. This will not be the last of Patmos 100. Lets finish it next time.
