Troy has been doing Hot Yoga after our Wednesday morning runs for a while now. I’ve done Yoga in the past but haven’t been very consistent. The experience has shown me areas that I/we neglect during a typical beatdown. The main one is form. Yoga is all about the form. You can get smoked holding a simple pose for 30 seconds – a very clean pose.
Breathing would be another main one that I/we don’t think about too much. We’ve had conversations about our breathing during our runs but not very many when it comes to PT. So, I wanted to change the pace for this morning WO to work on form and breathing. Breathing really helps me to focus on what I’m doing.
I also wanted to make sure we did everything together and have rep counts that wouldn’t be too high in order to focus on form. Here’s what we did:

Mister Brown, you seemed to really enjoy this WO. One of your strengths is your flexibility and you really showed us how the reps should look.
Coors, you complained about not having feeling on one side of your body. If you did I couldn’t tell. We’ll be praying for you.
Kato, You’ve been my Yoga partner for a while and I know you know what I mean from this BB and the WO. I think we could bring some of these elements to NWInd.
Pacrat, you seemed to be a little bored. Hope you got a little something out of it. My legs felt like noodles when I was taking a shower so it got me pretty good.
